Family is where we first experience love and where we first give it. It’s probably the first place we’ve been hurt by someone we love, and hopefully the place we learn that love can overcome even the most painful rejection.

This crucible of love is where we start to ask those big spiritual questions, and ultimately where they end.

Just a pop in. Long time no see. I happened upon the article above, and it brought tears to my eyes so quickly. And though it speaks for itself — I don't feel compelled to add over 140 characters of commentary to it — I felt it deserved something a bit more substantial and persistent than a tweet. It should resonate longer and more deeply, as it is in my chest right now.
